About Our Methods
The Fogel Lab uses molecular biology, molecular and human genetics, genomics, bioinformatics and systems biology methods to study the effects of mutations on the function of various human disease genes, to identify the mechanisms by which genetic variants cause human disease, and to subsequently determine the functional role of these genes in the normal cellular pathways within neurons.
